Ignite’s Leadership Team attended athenahealth’s Thrive conference in Austin, Texas, from October 28th-30th. We were immersed in a wealth of innovative vendors and thought-provoking presentations. The event featured a robust lineup of panels and breakout sessions focused on the latest trends and advancements in healthcare. Our team enjoyed exploring potential new partnerships to enhance our organization’s vision and was thrilled to reconnect with the clients who make our work so rewarding every day.

athenahealth’s Product Roadmap Insight
Ignite’s Leadership Team was excited to get more insight on athenahealth’s Product Roadmap for Fall 2024 and beyond. It was inspiring to see all that the athena’s Product teams have planned to drive better patient care outcomes and practice efficiencies. We are looking forward to incorporating what we learned from the presentations into future blogs as well as our optimization and implementation project plans to ensure our clients are utilizing the most up to date athena tools and workflows.
Some of our favorite sneak peaks included enhancements to Patient Engagement workflows, such as Enhanced Self Check-in. We also cannot wait to see how Ambient Notes will transform the point of care and documentation experience for providers.
We are looking forward to how athenaOne will expand support for specialized documentation, especially after hearing how Product Leadership is investing resources into advancements in FQHC, Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, Orthopedics and Urgent Care workflows. The future is also looking extremely bright for interoperability, with athena’s plans to launch ChartSync, improve the prior auth process and revolutionize referrals through 360X.
