Rebecca Shufeldt founded Ignite Healthcare Solutions in 2022. Having worked in healthcare consulting for the past 19 years, she understands the most important part of providing a solution is to outline it in a digestible format that aligns with the client’s goals.
Starting as a medical assistant over 15 years ago, Rebecca has worked in multiple facets of healthcare. From working at the front desk to being the Director of Operations of an Urgent Care MSO, she understands how important all work streams are in the financial success of a healthcare organization.

Drawing from her rich background as an operations associate and community manager, Katie brings a deep understanding of the crucial role that business organization plays in ensuring executives can deliver a seamless experience to you when working with Ignite.

Michael Shufeldt has been part of the Ignite team since its inception in 2022. He concurrently serves as Principal at Xcellerant Ventures, a healthtech focused VC fund, and as an A-10C Fighter/ Instructor Pilot in the Idaho Air National Guard.
Michael’s diverse skill set includes exceptional leadership abilities, refined through experiences in the military and in business. As a strategist and tactician, he possesses a profound understanding of the nuances of decision-making and planning. Additionally, he has expertise in financial modeling and analysis, which he leverages as Ignite’s CFO.

Amanda Van Cleave

Amanda Van Cleave comes to Ignite with 18 years of healthcare experience. She started out in the industry working for a family medicine provider while working on her bachelors degree in Neuroscience and her masters in Healthcare Administration. She then spent two years working at Tufts Medical Center in Boston before joining athenahealth where she worked for 13 years. Throughout that time she specialized in onboarding, training/curriculum development, project management, practice management, consulting, workflow optimization, and staff augmentation.
While Amanda is well versed on all aspects of athenaOne, providers and clinical staff hold a special place in heart. She loves to watch the lightbulb go off when they discover something new or find a resolution to a problem. Creating an environment where providers can do what they do best – treat the patient – without distraction, is what drives her. The EMR should be a tool in their arsenal to help them as they provide care, not an extra burden for them to manage.

Kristin Taylor has thirteen years of experience in healthcare as a provider, consultant, program manager, and director of product operations. A former athenahealth implementation project manager, she has 9 years of experience with AthenaOne and has deep knowledge of clinical workflows, integrations, data migrations, reporting, and revenue cycle.
She is passionate about providing tailored solution designs for complex workflow needs. She has led over 30 multispecialty full lifecycle software implementation projects for organizations ranging from 10 – 300+ providers.
Having been on both sides of software implementation as a client and a vendor, Kristin utilizes a partnership to approach implementations with a lens for strategic change management.
