Having spent more than 12 years dedicated to providing consulting services, our team brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every client engagement. Many of our team members previously worked at athenahealth, providing them with unique insights and a deep understanding of the challenges healthcare organizations face.

Rebecca Shufeldt
Founder & CEO
Rebecca Shufeldt founded Ignite Healthcare Solutions in 2022. Having worked in healthcare consulting for the past 19 years, she understands the most important part of providing a solution is to outline it in a digestible format that aligns with the client’s goals.
Starting as a medical assistant over 15 years ago, Rebecca has worked in multiple facets of healthcare. From working at the front desk to being the Director of Operations of an Urgent Care MSO, she understands how important all work streams are in the financial success of a healthcare organization.
Michael Shufeldt, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Michael Shufeldt has been part of the Ignite team since its inception in 2022. He concurrently serves as Principal at Xcellerant Ventures, a healthtech focused VC fund, and as an A-10C Fighter/ Instructor Pilot in the Idaho Air National Guard.
Michael’s diverse skill set includes exceptional leadership abilities, refined through experiences in the military and in business. As a strategist and tactician, he possesses a profound understanding of the nuances of decision-making and planning. Additionally, he has expertise in financial modeling and analysis, which he leverages as Ignite’s CFO.
Rachel Pardee
Vice President
Rachel Pardee brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to Ignite. After earning her master’s degree in Epidemiology, she began hercareer at Mass General Brigham, where she worked to bring patient care recommendations out of the research realm and into real-world clinical workflows.
She spent the next 15 years at athenahealth, starting on the clinical side and working closely with physicians and EMR support teams to design workflows that improved efficiency and provider satisfaction. As her career progressed, she took on leadership roles within athenahealth’s consulting and advisory services, helping clients implement strategic recommendations and drive measurable outcomes. Most recently, Rachel focused on revenue cycle analytics. She developed reporting frameworks, uncovered performance trends, and guided both clients and internal teams to strengthen financial operations.
Andrea Stout
Vice President
Andrea Stout joins Ignite Healthcare Solutions with 15 years of experience in project and revenue management. Her background is in partnering with organizations to identify fresh revenue streams and implementing adaptable strategies to maintain growth.
Andrea’s expertise gives her a unique perspective on each client’s specific financial goals, allowing her to collaborate with stakeholders to build in controls and ensure project success.
